Admissions Review

Our Admissions Committee reviews every application holistically within 1–2 business days. You may be contacted for clarification.

Decision & Onboarding

Successful applicants receive a formal admission letter with payment instructions, platform access details, and orientation schedule.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Currently employed or actively seeking career advancement
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

UN Agencies & NGOs

  • Active employment or newly recruited status with a UN agency or registered NGO
  • Supervisor approval or organizational endorsement letter
  • Relevant field or programmatic experience
  • Commitment to applying learning in operational contexts
  • English proficiency (other languages available for cohorts of 10+)

Government & Public Sector

  • Current employment in a government ministry, department, or public institution
  • Relevant background in governance, policy, or public administration
  • Line manager or HR authorization for training participation
  • Clear professional development objectives aligned with program content

Individual (Self-Funded)

  • Professional background in a field relevant to the chosen program
  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrable professional equivalence
  • Clear statement of career development objectives
  • Self-funded, scholarship applicant, or employer-sponsored
  • Ability to commit 5–10 hours per week to study

Tips for a Successful Application

Ensure all documents are clear, legible, and exported as PDF where possible. Blurry or low-resolution scans are a common cause of delays.
Documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. GIL cannot accept machine-translated documents for official verification.
Use the same email address across all documents and your application form this is how GIL communicates your decision and onboarding details.
Complete the application in one session where possible. Your progress is not automatically saved. The entire form takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
